Hmm...

Is the title of this blog making you curious?
well to be honest, im not really sure what to talk about.......................

I was just on my laptop and i realised that i havent actually writen a blog in a couple of weeks, im not sure how interesting this i going to be for you, but its something to read i suppose :)

Oh, i have something exciting to say! (well its exciting for me anyway haha)

you will not know this because i havnt said anything about it before, but about 18 months ago, i decided to start learing how to facepaint!! i got this kit from snazaroo....

I have been really impressed with this kit!!
When i first got it, i was practicing everyday but after about 2 months or so, i started to give up on it. I felt as though i wasnt making any progress with my creations.
For about a year i didnt really touch it, i sort of forgot about it but i have now just re-discovered it and im really enjoying it again :)

Maybe in my next blog, i will go into more detail about this kit and i could do a picture gallery of all the faces i have created. yes, thats what i will do!

Review::Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25Hour Foundation

Hiya everyone!!

In this blog post, i will be reviewing the rimmel london lasting finish 25hour foundation :)

First i want to talk a bit about the packaging of this product. the bottle itself is glass with a plastic lid. I am fine with having this foundation stored in a glass bottle but i know sometimes tis can be a pain for people.
As you can see, the bottle seems rather plain but on the lid, there is slight detail.

I know this doesnt really make much difference to the purchase, if you like the foundation then you are obviously going to buy it. But i just thought it was nice detailing on their part.

Anyways.....

This foundation has got a pump

I really liked this becasue its always a pain when you have to pour it out onto something. it makes a mess and lots of product is waisted!!

The actual foundation itself is pretty good. it has a medium/thick consistancy that is easily blendable.

i find this foundation to me medium/full coverage and i like this in a foundation myself.

Product info

as you can see in this photo, you get 1fluid ounce of product in the bottle. this may not sound like that much but i have had this for around 4 months, i use it everyday and i still have some left!!

Now, this cost £5.99 from boots but the RRP is £7.99

 (i got it on special offer WOOHOO)

On the back of the bottle is says.............

'sweat, heat, humidity and transfer proof for up to 25 hours. enriched with a revitalizing mineral complex and moisturizing aqua primer. skin feels energized and hydrated all day'

MY THOUGHTS

Hmmm, its sad to say but to me, what it says about the product. not true!! for me anyway :(

when i put the product on, it look great for the first hour or so, and then it started to come off, but in patches!!

i have to say, even though it is a medium/thick concistancy, it does feel light on the skin. now having said this, i then tried the product with a primer

 (a rimmel london product aswell)

it didnt help it to last any longer but it stoped the product melting off in patches.

i do not recomend this product if you have oily skin, as i have dry skin and it came off on me, i think it would just come off within a matter of hours :(

i have to say, when the bottle runs out i will not be repurchasing this sadley as i do enjoy rimmel products.

ALTHOUGH.... I would recomend this to you if you are planning to stay still all day, then im sure it will last a whole 25 hours!!

even though it says 25 hours, we all know that it will never last that long but i would have expected it to last a whole lot longer then what it did.

Review::superstay 24 hour lip colour by maybeline :)

This is a review of the maybeline superstay 24 hour lip colour, and honestly, it really does last for 24 hours!

I bought this in the colour 510 'red passion' and i love it! its a really vibrant red this will suit anyone. I purshased this at superdrug for £6.99 and i think it is well worth the price. This product lasts all day for me, it's not drying to the lips at all

  (as long as you re-apply the conditioning lip balm throughout the day)

 The first step is to use the colour side, it has a sponge applicater that works really well! you only have to put one coat of the colour on and let it dry (the colour pay off is amazing) It is important to let it dry before applying the conditioning balm. You can feel it drying on your lips. It starts to feel really dry and a tiny bit uncomfortable, this is what the conditioning balm is for.      
                 

The conditioning balm is just a clear balm that adds amazing shine to your lips and it instantly takes away the dry feeling of the colour on your lips. !! but dont panic !! When i first went to apply the balm to my lips i was worried that it would transfer all the colour onto the condition balm, but it didnt! Its really amazing. The balm not only looks good but makes the colour last a lot longer. But you do have to re-apply the balm throughout the day to help the colour last!! but hey! thats a small price to pay for great looking lips for a whole 24 hours!!

This is what the colour looks like with one coat. And really, this is all you need. it is very drying to the lips on it own, so you apply the lip balm!

And this is what it looks like with the conditioning lip balm on. as you can see, it really brings out the colour more and adds a beautiful shine. it is important to apply this throughout the day to keep the colour looking fresh. it also stops the colour from flaking off throughout the day (this can be a pain)

I would give the product a 9/10 

the reason for it not being a 10/10 is because you have to apply the balm throughout the day to prevent fading and colour flaking! 

apart from that its a really great product and i really enjoy it
